I was so embarrassed for Trump. I have been there when I was in high school...didn't prep, read the cliff notes at the last second and hoped if I got called on I could b.s. my way through it.

I am surprised that his staff allowed him to do this interview but they did arm him with charts. LOL

It is irrelevant what the people who are pointing out Trump's mistakes have accomplished and what the IQ of each is in comparison to Trump, as not one of those posters is running for President.
Trump is running for President and asking for votes, and those voters have a right to critique the person asking for the vote in any way they see fit.
By your logic above the only people who would have a right to critique Trump are people with an equal or higher net worth and IQ, and that is a ridiculous notion.
On March 24th Trump told Fox New that tens of thousands of Americans would have died without the China travel ban. We now have 161,000 dead Americans and counting. What exactly did this travel ban actually prevent from happening?
He just did some revisionist history is all. It went from "we'd have tens of thousands of dead Americans" to "we'd have millions of dead Americans if I didn't ban travel from China."
Where'd you get that figure from, Mr. President? The manuals?
You could take almost any 30 second segment of this interview and release it as a campaign ad against Trump. It really was that bad. You won't convince that 38% or so of Trump's base. Ever. But you don't need to.
unless the white house had been rented out for a wedding reception i'm pretty confident they could have moved the interview inside if things were at all unpleasant.

Considering who he was interviewing with (the ultra left wing HBO, and the smug look on the interviewers face, and the fact that the interviewer spent >15 minutes on Covid response, Trump did pretty good. The dishonesty in the questions is appalling. Hammering on Trump about his "late" response to closing travel from China when your own god sent candidate Biden along with ALL YOU LIBERALS called his move racist at the time. YOU called him racist for closing the boarder with China and now you hammer him about not doing it sooner? This just shows the low state the democrat party is in, devoid of any intellectual honesty. Drink some more of that Leftist coolaid.
Of course all of your buddies at CNN and elsewhere in the MSM are touting how bad Trump did. Of course they are! They hate his guts as you do. There is one fact that will go down in the history books...HE BEAT HILLARY CLINTON! So, if Trump is bad, how bad was Hillary? LOL

You do know the current president of the United States describes his hate for all American citizens who are not in his base, don't you? You will never hear Joe Biden talk like that, not as a candidate and not as the president. Check out some of Bidens interviews and townhalls if you want to hear serious discussion of complex issues.
