At the moment, we can't rule anything out, can we?

Let's wait for all the facts to come in before trying to make political hay out of it. Death told is north of 130 and counting. No matter what happened, this is a terrible tragedy and one of the most massive explosions south of a nuke any of us have ever heard about.

How in the world did those silos remain standing? What are they built out of?

Alarm at Trump’s unsubstantiated claim that Beirut blast was an ‘attack’

Once again proving Trump has zero credibility in foreign diplomacy.

“I’ve met with some of our great generals and they just seem to feel that this was not some kind of a manufacturing explosion type of event,” the president told reporters. “It was a bomb of some kind.” D. Trump

"I would advise against listening to Donald Trump at the best of times, let alone the worst,” Tom Fletcher, a former British ambassador to Lebanon, said.
Trump's initial assessment; "duh-uhhh, which one's Beirut?"

They were likely reinforced concrete.

They were full, that is why they are still standing.

I have seen round farm silos with corn silage in them break off flush at the grain level from downbursts and windstorms in rural Minnesota

The first video i saw of that explosion I thought it was a hotel.

I'm glad it was a silo, it protected a lot of stuff behind it.

I've been to Beirut. The people were friendly enough, ladies were gorgeous.

Can you post a link, and settle the issue?

I am not your search engine. It's not hard to validate. It was on national news this evening.

It was a shipment of ammonium nitrate that got stock in Beirut because the shipper ran out of money.

It was stored for 6 years in a hangar.

Earlier in this thread, I guessed Israel did it, but apparently they did not. I was wrong about that. Trump said the military people told him it was an attack. No country or group was named. No harm was done. It's sad that there are people whose life is so empty that they need to attack Trump on every little thing he says or does so they can feel like they are somebody.

LOL come on, be honest. It's at least 50/50 that Trump is right. This is Beirut we are talking about. Muslims slaughter each other everyday in that region.
