This must have been painful for DeSantis but what took him so long, Florida has been the hot spot for nearly a month. He had all those police cars on I-95 and I-10 all this time, what a waste.

Gov. Ron DeSantis, who had repeatedly disparaged New York as an example of how not to manage the coronavirus pandemic, quietly lifted travel restrictions Thursday.

New Yorkers and their neighbors from the tri-state region no longer have to self-quarantine for two weeks after entering Florida.

The three states are not the coronavirus hot spots they were when the 14-day self-quarantine restrictions were put in place on March 23.

The problem nationally is that each state went its own way, I don't see quarantines as effective. Florida has had them on since April, this is the problem with random responses by the states.
