This week the CDC quietly updated the COVID-19 number, to admit that only 6% of all the 153,504 deaths recorded actually died from COVID-19. The rest had serious illness or a combo of very advanced age.
That's 9,210 deaths from COVID-19 alone.
The other 94% had 2-3 other serious illnesses & the overwhelming majority were "of very advanced age”

It's a true and deadly virus for sure--and mostly unknown until recently in this form.
But it may appear that all of the panic, shut-downs, government over-reach and economic destruction should not have occurred at all.

I wouldn't say this is economic destruction. Americans are standing, leaning in the wings, waiting to pounce on their return to the workforce. I would call it pulling the brakes on the economy, just long enough to try to defeat Fotifav... and when that fails too, it will boomerang in Trump's second term in an epic way.

No, CDC did not "admit that only 6% of all the 153,504 deaths recorded actually died from COVID-19."
They just listed contributing factors.
Having a comorbidity does not mean that the virus was not the cause of death. Someone with COPD might not have died for decades if he had not gotten COVID-19.
Someone with cancer could get bacterial pneumonia and die. It was the pneumonia that killed him, not the cancer, which would be a contributing factor.
