This coming from one of the "Run them over if they're in the street" all-stars...
And yet they do. So your options are run them over or wait for them to pass so you can you resume your life.
"And yet they do" is exactly my point as to why this should never have been allowed to escalate like this. This has been allowed. And people like you think it is okay because it happens.
Third option. The ONLY option: Police arrest mobs who forcibly take over roadways. Their protests can occur in roadways with a permit, or in parks and sidewalks. Like in a normal society. Can't we at least agree on that??

I am for running over no one. That being said, we need lines of water cannon trucks to clear roads. Yes this includes idiots on the right blocking roads earlier this spring.
You have the right to speak. You do not have the riot to force me to listen to your political blather.
Do believe the protesters shouting he didn't do anything are lying?
More than likely, they were unaware of what precipitated the beating. Someone claiming a fact happened has a much stronger argument than someone claiming it didn't.

Do you seriously think someone could take any of these protestors to court under the grounds that were illegally detained? Do you think any court in America would convict any protestors marching in the street with illegally detaining any of the drivers?
No. Bc it's not preventing their freedom of movement. There's a difference between a violation and an inconvenience. Courts recognize when one is happening vs the other, so your best bet is to defer to hire they'd interpret the situation.
So the guy claiming that in the video is lying?
They don't need to take anyone to court. Most cities have laws that already make it illegal to take over a roadway. Enforce those laws. This isn't hard.
Inconvenience...too funny. So, how long is too long, anyway? Should a driver accept a one hour 'inconvenience?' or is it completely at the will of the mob. In anarchist la la land, just wondering what to expect.

Amazing, in light of the evidence you believe this beating was justified?
There is evidence that the protestors got into a fight with a transgender woman and stole her backpack and skateboard and there’s video footage of them punching a blonde woman and attacking the man in the truck, chasing him and laughing when he crashes and yet there’s no evidence of him trying to run over protestors but that’s the story you want to believe.

Another hands up don't shoot claim. And the liberal media will go wild with false accusations like that did with Brown.

Sorry. I'm from the CRM school of civil disobedience. Sit-ins, lay-ins, human chains, blocking roads, etc.
And this nation was founded in those same principles of civil disobedience unless you want to start describing colonial tax protests and tea parties as mob action that should have been cracked down on by the British...
So no. We can't agree that protests should only happen where the agency you're protesting gives you permission to complain.

Then we differ bc I was all for the spring time protests the Right was doing bc that made it fair for the Left to do the same when the time came. Sane when they tried to organize the trucking showdown on DC. Civil disobedience functions the way it does for a reason.

Don't need to. I'm going with an eyewitness account.
