Very good point. The protests are going on in part because Trump wants no part of dealing with police reform and the issue brought up by these protestors. And Trump has spent the past 4 years fighting with governors and mayors around the country so coordinating a response is impossible. Perhaps Trump wants this stuff to continue so he can use it for his political advantage.
