The Republican National Convention kicks off Monday. It is expected to be a much more positive event than the convention produced by the Democrats last week, which as expected was largely focused on their deranged hatred of President Trump.
Planners insist they will put forward a more “positive” convention than Democrats’ roasting of Trump. Yet the president also appears intent on trying to seize on the nation’s cultural divides, particularly around issues of racial injustice and policing, drawing on grievances to motivate his base.
The agenda for the Republicans this next week will have a central theme for the entire convention and different theme every day, as follows, with more speakers being added as the week unfolds:
RNC Theme: "Honoring the Great American Story"
Monday: "A Land of Heroes"
South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott
Former Ambassador to the U.N. and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley
Presidential son Donald Trump, Jr.
Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida
Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio
Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel
Tanya Weinreis, (a Montana coffee shop owner who received federal loans to pay her employees during the coronavirus)
Andrew Pollack, (whose daughter Meadow was among those killed in the 2018 school shooting in Parkland, Florida)
Tuesday: "Land of Promise"
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo
Nicholas Sandmann
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY)
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds
Florida Lieutenant Governor Jeanette Nuñez
Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron
Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi
Eric Trump
Tiffany Trump
Melania Trump
Wednesday: "Land of Opportunity"
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem
Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN)
Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA)
Representative Dan Crenshaw (TX-02)
Representative Elise Stefanik (NY-21)
White House counselor Kellyanne Conway
Former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell
Rep. Lee Zeldin of New York and
Presidential daughter-in-law Lara Trump
Clarence Henderson (a civil rights figure from the 1960s will address the “true meaning of peaceful protest,”)
Vice President Mike Pence
Thursday: "Land of Greatness"
Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson
Evangelist Rev. Franklin Graham
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani
Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky
Rep. Kevin McCarthy of California and
Democrat turned Republican Rep. Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey
Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White
Alice Johnson (the criminal justice advocate whose sentence on drug crimes was commuted by Trump at the urging of celebrity Kim Kardashian)
Carl and Marsha Mueller, (the parents of human rights activist Kayla Mueller, who died while being held by the Islamic State group in Syria)
Can anyone imagine the Democrats showing this kind of respect to our country? They certainly did not do it at their convention last week. That very glum and hateful affair will provide a stark contrast to this convention, which is sure to focus on jobs, growth, freedom, liberty, renewal and the opportunity we have together as a nation to succeed and to have better days in the future than we have known in the past.
The choice is going to come down to jobs or mobs. Which would you prefer?

Actually talking without a Teleprompter unlike Biden.
And as is his norm, throwing lots of things out as facts with absolutely nothing evident to support them as being so. He's now addressing his supporters in the great state of delusion.

OMG, the clown has been on TV for an hour spewing his usual lies about accomplishments, voter fraud, energy, jobs, denigrating the Democrats, and cheering up the knuckleheads in the room. What an embarrassing last hurrah before he goes on trial.
....and the "farmers are doing great!" Really? Might wish to ask a few, outside of the clown's socialist programs because he failed at making a trade deal, how they are doing!
