Either way, I can respect her decision. My opinion is this. It's up to her. I'm not going to talk bad about her, because that isn't in my heart. I don't feel any hate or disgust towards her. At the end of the day, it's her choice. I'm trying to think critically and approach this matter from a pragmatic perspective. Part of me doesn't blame her.

She might be putting someone else's needs about her own. At the same time, many people have the attitude of "shut up and play ball". Many fans just want a one-dimensional person and don't care after that.

Example. Hank Aaron is one of the greatest MLB players who ever played the game of baseball. Alot of people only saw Hank Aaron the baseball player. What many didn't see was all the crap he was going through. When he was in the minors he dealt with so much racism, especially in the South. On the road, there were many cases he couldn't stay in the same hotel as his teammates because the hotels didn't want Blacks there. And then his home run chase. He was getting death threats and even had to have protect lest he get shot by a racist who didn't want to see him break Babe Ruth's record.

There are some individuals who will cheer for their favorite Black athlete at the game, and then talk trash about Black people after the game. I've personally seen this happen. My point is this. It goes deeper than just taking a knee or not playing the game that day.
And, yet by playing through adversity, raising above almost everyone else in the game of baseball, he accomplished more for racial equality than any of these "victim superstars" making tens of millions of dollars, and whose actions amount to nothing more than empty gestures.

I've never watched a single round of pro-tennis before. It's times like these when I'm glad I hadn't.

If she is a Japanese citizen, I've got no respect for such bs.

Go back to Japan--or Haiti.

She gets some slack if she is an American citizen.

So far they have threatened to stop watching the NBA, NFL, MLS, MLB, Tennis tournaments, The Oscars, the Golden Globes, the Emmy's, the Grammy's, the VMA Awards, the Tony's and pretty much every important sporting or artistic event in the country. Soon the same will happen with the NHL and Golf.

So my question is, what the hell are these snowflakes going to watch when a few months from now after every respected personality in the country criticizes Trump or anything Trump stands for?

Here is the solution for Trump supporters, if you hate so much our major cities, our personalities, our sportsmen, etc, why don't you create your own country away from all the "mean liberals", where you can live with your pigs and cows and have sex with your cousins whenever you want?

Isn't that easier rather than complaining since early morning?
What makes you respect actors or athletes for their opinions on anything other than acting or sports?

The point is that athletics are entertainment. They are an escape. Nobody cares if they protest on their own. But if they shove their politics in our face while they are supposed to be entertaining us, we will change the channel.

What, you mean, Marilyn Monroe wasn't a star because she cured cancer?

"Millionaire American black athlete drops out because she thinks blacks are oppressed in America."

Japan won't even let blacks into their country. Why isn't she boycotting Japan?

Says who? Due to COVID-19, Japan bans arrivals from foreign nationals of 146 countries regardless of race. They've only allowed foreigners who are residents in Japan to reenter Japan recently. And these foreigners can be of any ethnicity, they just have to have a residency card.

Man, you can't even get the whattaboutism right....toying with you is like taking candy from a baby.
