She might lose some money and endorsements. However, if she has a plan and the ingenuity to put some capital behind it, she can do something else. Alot of athletes have enough money to do something else if they get turned away from the American pro sports leagues. The people who have the most to lose are those with very little money to work with.

Why not run for a Mayor? Governor? President? Congress? Lobby on behalf of NGOs? And many more?
