Even Bolton ,who was THERE, no Trump lover, came out and said it NEVER WAS SAID by Trump.
To be fair, Bolton said that he never heard it when he was with the president, but it's still telling and harms the other poster I was chatting with here who claimed that the statements could have have uttered at multiple times/places during that day
I know that three other news gathering organizations independently confirmed the statements with their sources. Whether they were the same sources Jeffrey Goldberg quoted or not is irrelevant, because Trump could have easily made the comments on more than one occasion with different people in the room. The statements stand on their own lack of merit. I'm willing to place a wager on two of the sources being Kelly and Mattis.
All of the people who work for the administration may not be liars, but every press secretary Trump has had, Spicer, Sanders, Conway, and McEnany, are all inveterate sequential liars who can be easily fact checked.
Mattis and Kelly came to mind immediately.
This whole thing doesn't surprise those who know Trump - and probably will only affect the fence-sitting voter, the few that are out there anymore.
His 30% base won't care.
But maybe with his racism, misogyny, and defamation of the American Soldier - that will be enough to sway a few voters to kick this clown out of the WH.
Folks, the media will say and do anything. That should scare every American. When Trump says the media are "the enemy of the people", he might actually be on to something. The media is LITERALLY TRYING TO SWAY THE NARRATIVE AND PICK A WINNER. LITERALLY. They are not even hiding it anymore.

Guess you were the teacher’s inside rat back in school pointing out other students that called you names that offended your delicate sensibilities. What policies? Defund the post office? Roll back health care protections without providing a replacement program first? Cut social security to the elderly? Destroy American farmers by starting a trade war with China? Steal money from OUR military to build his "wall?" Sell mineral rights in National Parks to private companies so that soon we will have none? Lower taxes so much for corporations and mostly ultra-rich individuals that he has gutted the long term stance of Republicans on "controlling" the Federal debt? Refuse to take responsibility for ANYTHING that doesn't paint him as "King" Trump?

By extension, it wouldn't surprise me whatsoever if Trump also regard police officers killed in action or even the doctors or nurses, medical folks who have contracted COVID-19 and died as being "losers and suckers" as well. Or those FDNY who died entering the WTC towers before collapsing on 9/11.

This is what you get when you are given everything in life and never had to work for it. You dont respect or appreciate what you have because you didnt earn it. So you have no respect for others, what they do or sacrifice to get it, or even died for a cause. Are you really surprised he's like that. Even heard from his own family members how he is. Father Fred really did a number on him.
