Always blame everything on racism, instead of looking at the nuances of why there may be other underlying reasons.

Quote:
According to a new report from Citi (C), systemic racism in the United States has had a huge cost to the economy: $16 trillion over the past two decades.

That’s the combined cost of disparities in wages, education, investment in black-owned businesses, and the housing market.

Just a liberal puff peice that no one is allowed to challenge. How much has welfare, food stamps, imprisonment, cost of policing the hoods, theft, looting, and unproductivity due to affirmative action cost the economy?

It's not racism, it's black American culture.
A culture that supports thuggery, supports out of wedlock relationships and single motherhood, a culture that places zero emphasis on education, a culture that promotes violent & vile rap music, and a culture that defends criminals instead of cooperating with police to remove criminals off the streets.

Citibank is another corporation trying to hope if they appear woke everyone will ignore the way they've contributed to the problem. I'm guessing they make a killing on interest rates and late fees paid mostly by poor people.

Racist inevitably produces a sub-optimal economy since it damages the economic prospects of a significant portion of the population. We're all poorer as a result.

There is nothing scientific about this 'study'.

It ignores so many complicated factors and issues. Citibank itself shares much of the blame themselves.

Racists = It's not "racism", it's those people not doing XYZ that's the problem

Non-racists = that may be part of it but racism is a thing and it does create issues

Racists = maybe those people should pull themselves up by their boot-straps and stop complaining

Non-racists = no one's is really complaining....just pointing out that racism hurts us

Racists = I don't wanna hear it (fingers in ear)......racism doesn't exist and if it does, the only REAL racism is reverse-racism. My values, feelings and 'Merica are under attack by pretentious libruls sowing seeds of discord among us

Non-racists = ............................mmmkay
