Regarding the rush job and power grab by the Conservatives to nominate and select yet another Conservative Supreme Court (SC) justice on an already significant majority SC in less then one month and selected just one week from election, which makes the SC have an even more unbalanced bias (one way or the other) and puts yet another Conservative finger on the ruling scale, while putting needs more pressing to the American people on hold (such as getting millions of Americans assistance who are losing their food, water and shelter because of Covid):

there will be consequences.

Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham and some other Conservatives who broke their word / lied regarding this topic in the past (please see short video of their words spoken with no commentary in the OP), there is consequences for someone lying / breaking their word. The words coming out of a liars mouth means little. A man who is a liar and who is not steadfast in principles and instead flip flops based on opportunity can not be trusted.

Electing one of the most divisive, dishonest, destructive and demoralizing Presidents in US history did have detrimental consequences to our country.

The President has repeatedly made statements that have destroyed a degree of trust in many things that are beneficial to Americans. In this case, our democratic process of mail in voting (which has been going on since the Civil war). He has made claims that he will contest an election that is unfavorable to him. He has refused to release his tax returns. This significantly unbalanced SC with a yet another Conservative finger on the scale will likely rule on these things.

If there is found to be questionable things on Trumps tax returns (which is already showing on an unofficial leak) that are not released officially and publicly because the SC blocks it and if this SC rules in Trumps favor on an election, even if Trump significantly loses the popular vote and loses the electoral college vote, there will be consequences for silencing millions of American's voices.

Trump has done some good things but re-electing him will have detrimental consequences for the overall health of this country. The detrimental things he has caused and done will only compound.

I am not advocating and saying anything illegal will (or should) happen, just that there will be legal and constitutionally approved consequences for these things.

Conservatives please keep in mind, eventually the shoe will be on the other foot of significant unbalance where liberals hold the Legislative and Executive Branch. Are you willing to put that shoe on if its rainbow colored, says "Liberal" and "stepping on the Path to liberal policies" all over it even if those policies are considered Constitutional and if the opportunity presents itself? Honestly?

When it is that blatant - legal and Constitutional Tit for tat if the Democrats choose to be opportunists, just as Conservatives chose to be opportunists here. While it should not happen, there will be consequences. Lying and questionable elections and further tipping the scales to ones favor while ignoring and putting on hold more pressing needs of those who chose to elect you and who you represent will have consequences.

A can of worms has been opened (and more could be opened) that could have been avoided. Do some of the conservatives have an appetite for worm?
