It would depend on what my constitutes wanted at that time. That's the whole point. Let the people decide through their elected legislator. Not an unelected Justice claiming like a king the Constitution says so and no legislator can overwrite it, short of amending the 14th amendment which can't practically be done.
You are suggesting the SCOTUS should not decide if the laws are constitutional?

No. The “people” do not have a right to determine a basic human right like who you’re allowed to marry. What if your constituents decided they disliked heterosexual marriage (50% divorce rate ain’t helping), would you vote away that right for yourself and others? Doubt it. Basic human rights are not things that should change based on pandering to a constituency or reelection or religious belief. They are immutable.
This is getting silly. I'm sure they identified your sex from your ID and what have you.. The points have all been made.
It is getting silly. You don’t like/approve of/support the right of gay people to marry. That’s what this is about. It’s not about some constitutional argument. It’s about you wanting to deny a basic human right to your fellow citizens. And it’s about you being too much of a coward to just come out and say so.

I decided to get off the "crazy-go-round" a little bit ago. I suggest you do the same, for your own sake.

It's not a human right to have a homosexual union recognized and accepted. If people want to get rid of marriage law altogether then fine. I kind of support it at this point.

To me that's akin to throwing most all of humanity and history under the bus for not fully accepting abnormal sexuality.
No, accepting me now doesn't change the past.
