Trump was just ranting on Fox that he refuses to do a virtual debate.

Trump has covid half the white house has covid so why should he be allowed to be put Biden and his staff in danger?

Biden has the upper hand on this one he does not need to give in to Trumps demands. And even if he gets tested again how are we supposed to trust these people to tell the truth?

The debate commission should only allow remote.

I think trump's refusal to debate is the nail in the coffin for him. This election is going to be a rout in favor of Biden.

It should be virtual, and they should cut audio and video feed when the candidate's time is up. Give them a 15 second countdown before the feed is cut, so they can wrap up their thoughts. That is an incredibly easy way to solve the interrupting problem, so that we can focus on issues.

That said, Trump's only strategy is to interrupt and disrupt, so there's no way he'd agree to that.

The only safe options for the debate were go virtual or reschedule at a later date.

They really have no choice, other than to do virtual. Ordinary people have to quarantine after a covid diagnosis, so why can't Trump? No point in putting the health of the camera crew, moderators & the town hall attendees at risk. Very selfish move on Trumps part.

As with any debate or dialogue its the questions not asked that drives the agenda.

God people . This isn’t some budget meeting on zoom. It’s for the president of the United States in its most dire time . Of course it needs to be in person . Anyone that recommends virtual are not thinking this through rationally. I get it , Joe is a weak and frail old man , then he shouldn’t be president if he can’t get into trenches.
