He didn't stop intelligence briefings. He's just briefing members of Congress via other methods (aka, in writing) so that tracking leakers and disputing the disinformation they're spreading is easier.

Which it will, in short order, unless Rudy releases what is on the laptop, after which time he may have bigger legal problems than the ones he is trying to saddle the Bidens with.

That's why some ethical journalists are releasing what's on Hunter's laptop. They're immune from prosecution, having received the info directly from the owner: the computer repair shop owner that Hunter stiffed and to whom he consequently forfeited possession of the laptop.
If Trump takes control of the debate and asks Joe directly about the evidence especially the videos revealing crimes...Joe will blow e.g. why is Facebook and twitter not allowing the public to see this story?
Trump had better be ready to produce that evidence if he is going to accuse Joe of anything on live national TV.
