Anybody in the last 6-8 years knew how addictive they were. I think my whole family has been prescribed them at some point in time and we never finish the prescription.

the book 'Dopesick' by beth macy lays all that out in hideous detail. just finished reading it.

That’s being generous. Everyone who grew up in this country from the 80s on was taught that narcotics are addictive. It was on them to believe that, not believe it, or just ignore it.

Yeah - I forgot about the whole Prince fiasco... Heck - I would be thinking about a separate lawsuit in his case.
