The population of the Earth has gone from around 1 billion in 1900 to around 7 billion today mostly because of oil development. What will happen when oil production is stopped? Wind and solar are a joke compared to oil, a joke.

20 years ago, some dude thought to himself, "Geez, what'd happen if Blockbusters and Hollywood Videos gone out of business and you can't rent movies anymore?! We'd all just watch live TV and life would blows!"

Big oil was five years ago. Sorry, these dinosaurs are going the way of the real dinosaurs (pun intended).

Green is here. Al Gore won. The oil companies are hoping Trump would give them bailouts while they slowly get destroyed by green tech.

Also, if anyone believes gas will be $6 with Saudi Arabia hurriedly selling as much as they can before oil companies go out of business, that person is as clueless as they comes.

.
Many parts of the world have been paying that or even more for oil for years so that $6 figure is very conceivable and with how the Democrats are going to attack oil and related type of energy, it’s almost impossible to avoid a large spike in gasoline prices.

This will have a catastrophic effect on our economy as everything will get more expensive as a result.

Fossil fuels run our country and the world
If we don't use our resources we will have to spend exorbitant amounts for foreign oil which would be devastating.

Many parts of the world also have national healthcare and free college education.

Just because they do, doesn't mean we do.

Umm, actually many parts of the world has none of those. The actual number of countries with no national healthcare and free college education outnumber the ones that do, and by a lot.

Furthermore, the ones that do have national healthcare and college education, theirs tend to be inferior quality wise.

We have the best healthcare and higher education in the world. That’s why many wealthy foreigners come here for surgeries and also send their kids here for college education. You don’t see rich Saudi’s or rich Chinese going to Singapore for medical procedures or sending their kids for college education there, do you?

Everything that is free or cheap will always be poorer in quality.

Those countries have universal healthcare.
In countries like Iran and Kuwait, they pay 30 cents a gallon.
Where is our money going when gas was 5 dollars a gallon?
Not to the consumer or Universal Healthcare.

Ask Democrat-controlled California where the money of high gas prices go. California always leads the country in high gas prices but yet they have no universal healthcare for their residents as an excuse.

Oh and Iran and Kuwait are oil producers and no they don’t shoot themselves in the foot with dumb Green New Deals.

They lead because of higher taxes but that does not explain where the money is going nationwide.
If it is $4 dollars in Boston it is $5 in California.

If it is $2 dollars in Boston today, that means some greedy shareholders and CEOs were raking it in when it was $4.

Not true - one Australian state has managed to make its entire electrical grid 100% solar powered:

All of South Australia's power comes from solar panels in world first for major jurisdiction - ABC News
