Yes you are probably correct, still I would like to see the Democrats return to a more centered but more importantly America and the American worker first party but these days that wishful thinking falls under the dirty word of nationalism.

People have forgotten what made this country Great and the millennials have never really known a world of want. Our high level of living has allowed them to work less and complain more while they literally bite the hand that has given them everything.

They are not going to know what they have until it is gone.

There was a time in my life where I used to consider and have actually voted for Democrats because I thought they were the best candidate for the job but gone are the days of Bill Clinton and even the first term of Obama. It is now the party of AOC and her like that have not lived enough to appreciate what they have. They would tear it all down to implement their shallow form of socialism.

Perhaps it is wishful thinking that they will return to near center and if they don't, Sorry America it has been nice knowing you.

I wonder how the Democrats will feel about the EC if Biden should win by getting to the 270 first?

They will no doubt stop talking about abolishing it.

As for the minority that is imposing their "WILL" on the majority has anyone noticed that the Democrats have been bending over backwards for the fringe borderline terrorist group of Black Lives Matter? How about antifa? I know Biden says they are just an idea BUT if you cross them they will come to your house and do what they do best, destroy.

BLM and antifa have coerced the Democrat party into waging war on our Police and Law and Order. The Democrats are fearful of opposing these groups because they are potentially violent.

This is a case where the minority is imposing their will on the majority.
It's not balanced. When representation in the federal government is not balanced, then the electoral college is not balanced.

Bringing up BLM and Antifa is your response, because you don't have a response to the fact that the minority's dependence on the electoral college is about the minority getting to impose their will on the majority. Once again, the response is to pretend that the majority is morally or intellectually deficient.

You are already outnumbered. That situation is going to continue, and eventually the majority will win.

Yep, that minority is so smart. The majority of people in this country are in so much need of a lesson from you geniuses.

Bernie Sanders and his ilk would be wiser if they came up with some way to call what they want another term besides socialism. It's a tainted word and it's not even really accurate. They want northern European style social welfare programs but at the core those nations are still fundamentally capitalistic in nature.

I personally think we pay enough in taxes and have enough benefits, but that crowd wants cradle to grave benefits for all and that has a HUGE price tag. One time in a moment of honesty Sanders actually said out loud that it would require a large tax increase for everyone, not just the uber rich.

I still think it would be an easier sell to the American public if they framed it an any way other than using terms like Socialism.

I saw that BS and right then and there the Dim party slid too far left for my tastes.
I, too, could not believe this. Biden’s hand was sort of reticent, like maybe I had better play along.

I used to vote Democrat down the line except for when John Spellman ® ran against crazy Dixie Lee Ray (D). He was a decent governor. She was all about nuclear power.

In 2016, I voted Green Party because I liked neither candidate. This year, I voted for Trump to try to stem the tide of this equal outcomes bull roar. I don’t not like him personally: he is an inconsiderate bombastic boor. But, Kamala Harris could become president and I like her less than Trump. Biden is a DNC puppet.

Where is all this money originating to pay for free college tuition, free healthcare (for illegals, no less), tuition forgiveness? Yep, the middle class like you and me.

The electoral college is designed to mitigate a Majority Rule based on Population. It's the States that vote.

Without it, those minority States would be ignored. Without it, States would be incentivized to flood their population numbers with bodies, legal or not.

I thought a Dem would be into sticking up for 'minorities'. Affirmative Action for States, right?

Bernie is showing his Idiocy, and had to come up with something that was a hard sell in this country due to the unpopularity of the term Socialist and the failure of Socialist countries in the Americas. He could have called it a number of things. He could have called it "True Democrat Representation for the Poor" or any other term and had an easier time selling it, but Crazy Bernie is Stupid and a fool thinking he can tell us how
Great Communist systems are, in his past speeches, then try to sell us on Socialism under the guise "Democrat Socialism"
