He’s bringing in an all-star team of Obama administration retreads, most of whom have spent the past four years in nonprofits with the word “justice” in their names. So get ready for all the wonderful Obama-era environmental claptrap, but with the volume turned up to “11”. His EPA pick is a real winner:
I am not surprised, there will be some change in that regard. Also, Germany is pushing for a privilege tax for remote workers. Lets see if this idea catches some traction with this administration.
We had it up to $5.19/Gallon here under Bush. I predict above $6/gallon this time, which will collapse our economy. Everything moves via fuel, and when it gets north of about $3.50/gallon it creates perpetual inflation which hits everything with huge price increases. I've always kept ~30mpg vehicles as my daily, so its not the gas cost that made finances difficult. Groceries got so expensive during $5/gallon gas that a head of lettuce was $4 and 2 little bags of basic groceries was $100.
Well the extreme Left seems to think that electric cars are the way to go. Of course they don't seem to connect the dots as to where all that electricity comes from.. yes some is from solar and some from wind but it is a small percentage..
The socialist don't think we should even have cars but instead should rely on public transportation like buses, trains and wagons to get around but those wagons cannot be pulled by horses because they produce methane that is bad for the environment...
Oh well. I think the people that voted for Biden don't really care about high gas prices because they don't own cars living mostly in the cities but they forget that trucks bring them everything they need for life and higher fuel prices means their grande mocha choco latte is going to cost them more. OH the HUMANITY they will say WHAT HAVE WE DONE!
Every auto maker is "extreme left"?
You realize it's a lot easier to update pollution controls and make efficiency upgrades/power source swaps on around 10,000 power plants in the US vs 273 million cars, right?
Not even the oil men duo of Bush Jr and Cheney could push gasoline to $5.
.
This isn't a spike in gas and energy prices because of war or embargo's - it is a structural reset of the energy system spending (wasting) trillions to "save the planet" from itself. They will make it as hard as possible for people to use oil and gas -- and taxation and environmental rules will be their method.
Gas, oil, home heating fuel, etc. -- all going to go up substantially - killing businesses and savings in the process. All part of the Great Reset.
Its important to keep in mind, there ARE much greater sources of energy available...the problem is, they are kept locked up under Govt lock and key, (because they cannot be metered out for sale), and/or they would be too much of a threat to oil and gas industry.
You dont have to believe me, look it up for yourself...'The Invention Secrecy Act of 1951'.
I just saw an advertisement for a 700 HP “Ram” pickup. 14 mpg estimate highway driving.
I think we can all agree that’s a step in the wrong direction. Elec cars are a joke, renewable energy is just a catch phrase. Best case scenario 10% of our power needs can be reached with renewables...especially if they keep adding inefficient elec cars in the mix.
What we need is for suburbanites to get out of heavy pickups they don’t need and purchase vehicles that get a minimum 30mpg combined. Then keep as many working at home as possible. The goal should be one efficient car families.

There is a respected trader/forecaster who thinks oil could go well over $200.00 a barrel within the next 5 years.
For those who see the big picture - plan accordingly.
