To equate the deaths of holocaust victims with the death George Floyd is a grave affront to holocaust victims
Okay. Well first of all thanks for not posting a superficial response.
So no, at first glance they are not obviously the same thing. But contemplate the situation: the people murdered in the German death camps were minorities being persecuted by the ruling majority. These include Jews, Gypsies, Jehovah's Witnesses, homosexuals, blacks, the physically and mentally disabled, political opponents of the Nazis, including Communists and Social Democrats, dissenting clergy, resistance fighters, prisoners of war, and Slavic peoples. It's not that big of a leap.
If you want to avoid a holocaust, one of the stages to avoid is discrimination.
Now people can go back to asking why I posted a stupid question.
