South Dakota emergency-room nurse says some patients insist COVID-19 isn’t real even as they’re dying from it (Congress, drugs)

Lol, it must take a lot of faith to believe that dying people are lucidly saying these things. As much faith as it must take to believe in Pearly Gates. I must say that of the 3 people I have sat with as they passed away, none ever discussed politics...
‘The ones who scream at you for a magic medicine and that Joe Biden is going to ruin the USA. All while gasping for breath on 100% Vapotherm. They tell you there must be another reason they are sick. They call you names and ask why you have to wear all that “stuff” because they don’t have COVID because it’s not real.’
Nah...it jibes completely with other stories I’ve heard from other places. Like this hardhead in Texas. And if anything, people in the Dakotas are even more delusional than Texans.

"I think I made a mistake. I thought this was a hoax, but it's not."
Those were the final words of a 30-year-old patient who died at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio this week after attending a so-called "COVID party," according to the hospital.
Though some will claim the vaccination is a "deep state" attempt at mind control, etc., I suspect that most of those who have been claiming it is not big deal, no worse than the flu, it's just old and/or sick people anyway, etc. will be lined up for their vaccination.
Just like the "we hate socialism" soybean farmers are lined up for their subsidies.
Just like the "government should stay out of our business" folks are lined up for those FEMA checks.
The nurse is telling the truth and we all know it. Delusional people tend to continue being delusional even when sick and dying.
Yep. Completely truthful, and it’s causing a lot of butthurt around here.

“He didn’t really believe. He thought the disease was a hoax. He thought he was young and he was invincible and wouldn’t get affected by the disease,” Dr. Appleby said.
Even if this story were true, it would illustrate not that the man thought it was a hoax but that he underestimated it's severity and that his youth would protect him.
People will believe anything, it's comical. Some even believe Biden has a plan to combat Covid. He has nothing but old ideas that don't work, but people will go to their graves believing what he claimed.

Even after the tens of thousands of documented lies, 72 million Americans continue to believe every word that comes out of Trump's mouth. He's definitely one of the most successful conmen in history. If that isn't power, I don't know what is.

They're not showing that kid's picture because he's a whale.

You believe that 72 million people would elect Hitler and you think we're being conned???

You don’t even believe that Trump got his ass handed to him on Election Day.
So really...YOU lamenting on credulity or lack thereof rings just a tiny bit hollow. Go buy some credibility and get back to me.
