I'm only surprised that this encounter didn't make national news. CNN just loves to run story after story about a white woman behaving badly and committing no actual crime.
It's biased and skeevy to pick stories like that but they have bills to pay and need those clicks.

And CNN usually has at least one reporter who seems to cover CCC (Contra Costa County). Over the last decade plus (since I moved to Texas) when I see a story break on CNN in CCC, it’s always been a reporter that I recognize as a former reporter with a local station (good chance they still live locally).
Weird. I read the article about this from the local ABC news station. From the article:
The Jones' say in the 12-years living in the neighborhood their interactions with the Deans have been pleasant. Including an earlier encounter on Monday, when Gerritt and his 13-year-old son Zayire took Dice for a walk. Surveillance video shows Adana petting Dice.
Given their pleasant history, this sounds almost like the woman has some form of dementia. I used to walk my kids around the neighborhood in their stroller when they were babies/toddlers, and we would bump into an older neighbor couple. Mostly we just waived and said good morning to each other. One time, after not seeing them for a while, we stopped to chat. The wife seemed a bit off, and shortly thereafter I learned she had Alzheimer's. This could be a situation like that considering they had had such a recent friendly encounter with her. Doesn't make it right, but it could explain the bizarre things she said.

Yeah you can find stories like this every day if you look hard enough. A lot people want a minute of fame. Just like the Jussies faking racist attacks. It's amazing how the CNN's will go crazy over the story right up until its proven false then they go quiet. No retractions, maybe a quick piece on the crime might not be a clear cut and that its complicated. Thats why I can't trust main stream media.
