https://thefederalist.com/2020/11/20...-youre-stupid/

"...Again, there is only one possible conclusion you can reach, based on months and months of appalling hypocrisy from the media and our ruling elite: they think lockdowns are for you, not them. They think pandemic rules are for you, not them. They think suffering hardships and doing as you’re told are for you, not them. Why? Because they hate you and think you’re stupid."

This article tells it like it is. Lots of examples (and there are plenty it doesn't mention) of how politicians order you to do one thing and then do something else themselves.

Its very clear the politicians (and media and even medical professionals in government) don't take the pandemic seriously.

It's also very clear that even though well over 250,000 pf you have died needlessly and your leader goes golfing and does nothing to address this while wasting interminable amounts of time and energy disputing the obvious results of his election loss, that a very significant number of you are indeed dumber than a box of rocks for blindly believing Trump was ever interested in draining any swamp to the general betterment of the country.

Republican politicians, yes. Democrat politicians are noble, pure and infallible. and before people say that I am being sarcastic I am not. just look at the policies that Democrat politicians stand for. they all are humanist policies that seek to improve life for the underprivileged.

I don't think politicians hate me or think I'm stupid but being among the Irredeemable Deplorables they certainly don't like me because I won't blindly follow them.

Look at places where democratic leaders have been able to implement those policies for the last 40 years and then tell me again how much they have improved peoples lives.

I don't think the politicians hate people per se, I just think that they are indifferent and really don't give a flying F about the people.

I don't think we need some article to tell us what we should already know anyways.

They in it for power and money.

They wanna make more and more programs so that they are in a position to be influenced to get all that lovely lobby money.

An independent populace makes them redundant and that scares them.

I think that's obvious. Especially left-wingers who think you are too stupid to run your own life. But many right-wingers aren't saints either.

Wow. I'm getting a screenshot of this one. I can't really relay much more of what I think about your comment, but I think you get the idea.
