Why is commie spy Joe so interested in giving the appearance of not being a racist? He doth protest too much?
He is a racist and a pervert as well. His treatment of his female secret service detail speaks volumes.
His Freudian slips are another give away. Like when he says poor kids are as bright as white kids. LOL. Yeah there is a skeleton hiding in that closet. He likes to let them play with the hair on his legs. What else Joe? Reach in my front pocket and guess how much money I have in there?
I agree; why was his race highlighted in the announcement? It's almost as if the "news" is saying "Biden takes a risk on having a Black man as sec def" WTF is that?
Because it will be a momentous event. Sure there have been a few black people serving as Secretary of State, and Attorney General, and National Security Advisor, and Education Secretary, and Surgeon General, and as Supreme Court justices. But a black Defense Secretary? Man, that will really be something!
OP he seems well qualified for the position.
He is a four star General, seems highly qualified...
A person's skin color should be irrelevant to how they are treated....theirs qualifications should determine that.
And he is definitely qualified for this job.

We don't often agree, but this time we do.

Please don't tell me he is an equal opportunity candidate. Review his history in the army. You don't command elements of the 82nd airborne without earning it.
No, I do not like Biden or Trump. Why attack this Soldier over politics? He seems to be a good man.
who gives a damn what race he is?.....why do Dems continue on with these identity politics? didn't you see what happened with Congressional voting during this last election? People are sick of it. Keep it up and watch what happens in the House in 2022.

The OP is obsessed that he's black and pays little attention to his military qualifications. Hence this thread.
General Austin is well qualified for the job. But that isn’t the problem. It’s his ideology.
The actual problem is that he will push Biden’s agenda of sucking up to Iran, which will destabilize all the gains made over the last 4 years. Since the General was appointed by Obama to lead CENTCOM, that means he is also a true believer of helping Iran while demonizing Saudi Arabia and Israel.
In fact, Saudi Arabia is already backing off on deals they made because they understand the entire dynamic is about to change in the region and Biden’s administration is not their friend.

The OP's a Trumper......
