What is the disconnect?

All morning on the news, they've been showing pictures of people lined up at Food Banks...

They are talking about the fact that it's people who never thought they'd be there.

And, it's Christmas...

In Washington, they don't seem to get it - it's all about winning or losing - it's politics...

They don't care about us.

The faster people realize this, on both sides of the aisle, the better.

A stimulus check would offer immediate relief...

They can fight about everything else until this time next year.

Something needs to be done - now.

This was at Thanksgiving.... a month later and still nothing.

The lines are longer, now.

The richest nation in the world.

I wonder if these fine Senators had food on their tables at Thanksgiving??

Wonder if they've got presents under their trees???

Presents paid for by taxpayer dollars..

There’s a major increase in people seeking food at food banks in my area and also a big increase in people applying for food stamps an other government assistance. A lot of people are hurting. It’s really sad.

What's really sad is that the people elected in Washington have blinders on and must not watch the news...

How many months have they been talking about a second stimulus check?

And, now, they want to "do something" and leave out the stimulus check. The stimulus check would make an immediate difference for people hurting and for the economy.
