As I've said before, he has never understood his job, or anything else about how government in this country works, except how easy it is to dupe people if he just followed the playbook of the party in power in Germany in the 1930s (no, I'm not referring to the waning years of the Weimar Republic, it's what came after 1933, so horrid that I can't even type it). Reading the article it looks like a lot of the probes being outlined are civil in nature. Even the article indicates it is unclear if these cases have merit or not. Tax issues could be anything and are not likely to result in anyone going to jail. But you can dream about Trump doing jail time all you want.
CNN reported tonight Trump had a meeting with Sidney Powell and Flynn along with Trumps advisers turned into yelling at one another. Apparently Trump is entertaining the idea which Flynn is pushing others are strongly advising against it.
The question is will the GOP senate go along with the idea? If not I suspect they could repeal the insurrection act or pass another veto proof law to stop him.
