With the election in 5 days...

Quote:
Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) announced Thursday that he will quarantine after being exposed to someone infected with COVID-19, taking him off the campaign trail just days before his crucial Senate runoff.

Perdue’s team said in a statement that the senator was informed Thursday that he had been in contact with someone on the campaign who tested positive for the coronavirus. While Perdue and his wife tested negative for COVID-19 Thursday, they will still quarantine based on guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and their doctor’s recommendation.

Hopefully it won't impact all the money he stole in the stock market during the early days of the virus.

As soon as he announced his quarantine the backlog of events/interactions of him without a mask on were immediately posted all over social media. Hopefully they were all consensual suicide missions.

I don't know if he reached the level of the moron Letlow who died yesterday. They got that cat in churches, elementary schools, and everywhere else without a mask infecting innocents who didn't consent to being in his presence.

Good riddance to that POS.

Letlow was in public elementary schools without a mask. Photo-verified fact.

You must send Johnny or Sally to the indoctrination center or face Letlow's cage. Then when your kid gets there you have a moron with Covid not wearing a mask...Letlow himself.

Burn in hell, Letlow.

Of the two Senate races, his is safe but still a statical tie. Loeffler is if you go by aggregate polling not most recent polls. I hope Purdue is well but it is a bad time to be quarantined.

I think Senator Perdue underwent quarantine once before, but he did not develop Covid. I, of course, hope that he again dodges the bullet.

I do worry that as this new virus variant becomes more widespread, more people will be infected. So far, it is not considered more 'deadly', but more people will become sick, and so stress our hospitals even more.

That said, if Senator Perdue does develop symptoms, he will be accorded treatment not available to the rest of us.
