Isolation issue solved.

You going to build more cells so they each have their own to isolate in. And if you go for that, how are you going to isolate them from guards and other staff?

Or are you going to automate everything?

Give staff full PPE, plus automate as much as possible.

Being in prison is a pre-existing condition. They are in close quarters and often times prisons are over-populated. Look at the hepatitis outbreaks in prisons over the past 20/25 years. COVID is just the new hepatitis.

It is a self induced condition.

The focus should be on the vast majority of law-abiding , productive citizens with pre-existing conditions going against them first.

So we let prisoners die. Regardless of if they are violent or nonviolent offenders. . .

We do not prioritize them ahead of others. They rank no higher, nor lower, than others.

I am far more concerned with nursing homes which account for almost 2 in 5 national covid deaths.

They are certainly a more susceptible population to a COVID outbreak, like it or not. Mind you, I'm not super bleeding heart towards criminals, especially white collar and violent criminals. That said, I think part of the problem is since not all people are on death row or life sentences, COVID-19 and Hepatitis outbreaks are cruel and unusual punishment and could get prisoners a lawsuit based on the 8th amendment.

"Now we screwing up vaccine distribution."

Whatcha' mean "we"

The vaccine is distributed to the GOVERNORS.

If you have problem with a particular STATE, contact the GOVERNOR of that state!

I know, a TOUGH concept to grasp for some!

".when half the doctors and nurses are refusing to take it"

The devil is ALWAYS in the DETAILS.
The article ONLY talks about CA., NOT the entire country.

Post FAIL!

Also, I cannot find anything that says doctors are refusing it. Some nurses are.

Overall, higher education level attained is associated with intent to take the vaccine.

The articles need to break down the "health care providers" by category.

One poster here on CD who is refusing the vaccine has a profile that lists his occupation as "health care supervisor" and has a high school diploma. I would question his understanding of the vaccine.
