Now that the Deomcritters have full control of the WH and Congress, will they do whatever they have to, in order to get very strict gun control (just picture the harshest stuff they can get all their members to vote for) passed, specifically to screw conservatives? Of course, they'd screw the conservatives anyway, but the sacking of the capital building both pissed them off, and they probably think it gives them extra justification.
As far as doing whatever they have to, they would include getting rid of the filibuster (at least for gun control bills) and packing the courts if the courts start overturning what they pass.
You have a limited understanding of how the democratic process works. They need 60 votes for gun legislation. At best, AT BEST, they have 49. And that's assuming courts wouldn't strike it down as Unconstitutional.
As a liberal myself, it is obvious to me (at least) that the only way to pass gun legislation is to do it through state legislatures and hope they squeak just by Second Amendment precedent. As much as I'd love to get rid of it, the Second Amendment isn't going away anytime soon.
They don't need to. All they need to do is repeal The Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) which prevents victims of gun violence from suing manufacturers of guns.

There is no getting rid of the filibuster. Joe Manchin has already said he won't vote for it.
Don’t need to since Trump already pushed through legislation on the penalties for damaging Federal property. Hope the rioters enjoy their minimum 10 year “vacations”.
I thought democrats were against lengthy prison sentences for minor crimes?
A couple windows & some furniture broken doesn't warrant 10 years in prison.
Even child molesters often get less time than that.

No, it doesn't. It was a ridiculous EO at the time, and it is still ridiculous. Liberals are just trying to enjoy some schadenfreude.
Did you not read my second paragraph? They could now bulldoze those limitations out of the way.

I thought none of the people who broke into the Capitol building on Wednesday, carried any guns?
That doesn't matter to liberals - the party of 'truth over facts'.
