Unless there's a lot more to this story, we could use Judge Dredd about now.

A 26-year-old man had just gotten off a bus from Atlanta when he was attacked by a group of about a dozen suspects who beat him, cut him several times and stole his clothes, including his underwear, cops said Sunday.

The group of males and females began assaulting the victim around 11:30 a.m. Friday near Canal and Allen streets in Manhattan, cutting him with an unknown object, police said.

We are a nation that includes some uncivilized rabid animals roaming the streets.

You know what becomes of rabid animals? They are removed from society one way or another in order to protect the citizenry.

That is pretty sick. Was this a random attack or a case of street justice? It seems that the mob was looking for this guy and when spotted they swarmed on him.

As our Police are further stripped of their ability to do their jobs and face even more scrutiny when they are forced to up their use of force to secure a suspect and protect themselves and as our Democrat elected do more to protect the criminals and forget about the victims we will no doubt see even more of these scenes played out across America.

The Covid aside there are some places in our once great country that have become no go zones for the sane.

The part that angers me is that many, if not all those savages, are supported by my hard earned tax dollars from cradle to grave. This being NYC, their food, housing, education, healthcare, transportation, clothes, every need...paid for by the taxpayer, who then has to be fearful of the very people they are subsidizing.

They don’t have a care in the world and have lots of free time to do these type of things while we the working stiffs paying for them, are stressed from work, life, finances, etc.

This country is whack.

Broad daylight, smack in the middle of a city.

If someone did this in my town, there would have been cops there within a minute OR someone with CC would have pulled their gun out and stopped that but oh, guns in NYC are very limited for your protection.

Oh and yes, NYC has decreased (aka defunding) their police. Would appear that one group in the video is pleased by that while the victim, not so much.

Yeah, it looked like it was a set-up. They had a "net" spread out around him and when he ran he didn't get caught from behind.

Probably had someone texting him or watching his social media and knew when he was coming.

Oddly large group and they didn't just gun him down and stealing his underwear too...definitely something personal\revenge\robbery involved.

Very good chance he knew who they were.

^ Not only did NYC defunded the NYPD but the Democrats introduced bail reform, which is basically allowing criminals to go right back on the streets, and that’s why morale in the NYPD is low because why bother catching anyone if they are allowed back out literally within the hour?

I'm not against bail reform entirely.

That being said, just a gun permit for home defense runs 300-400 plus an interview etc. and takes 8 months or so. For CC you have to prove you have a need (aka you are a DA, politician etc.)

Bunch of BS if you ask me. Make it nearly impossible for the citizenry to protect themselves while reducing the police force....oh, this is not going to end well for mayor showboat busy painting BLM on the street.
