Don't be so silly, Timmy.

It's not at all seditious to recall a Representative who goes haywire. That's nothing but corrective action.

It's not seditious to have a little demonstration to show a bonehead freshman her constituents back home are keeping an eye on her.

Boebert is just learning the difference between putting on a show and actually putting in some work for her constituents. If she's smart, she'll heed those folks in Pueblo. If not, she could have a short 2-year career in D.C.

If you know anything about western Colorado (I lived there for 15 years), her district is 90% on the western slope. Pueblo is technically in the 3rd, but it’s not her support base. Pueblo is likely the only town in her district where Democrats could round-up a group of lefties to protest.

No, that's not it. If during the takeover of the United States Capitol she was tweeting the locations of various key offices, we shouldn't be calling for her resignation. We should be calling for her arrest.

I listened to this freshman Republican rep during the impeachment proceedings yesterday. At first I thought she was trying to mimic Sarah Palin. She was loud & crude with a very disrespectful and irreverent manner.

I searched and found an article on her yesterday, in the NYT. Not to my surprise it was titled:
A Republican Lawmaker for Whom the Spectacle Is the Point:
Rep. Lauren Boebert represents an increasingly clamorous faction of the party that carries Mr. Trump’s anti-establishment message and is ready to break all norms in doing so.

Representative Lauren Boebert represents a new faction of the party that not only doesn’t want to play by the rules but would rather break them in the service of getting attention.

As lawmakers entered the Capitol on Wednesday for one of the most solemn enterprises in American government, the impeachment of a president, Representative Lauren Boebert was causing a spectacle before even making it into the chamber. She pushed her way through newly installed metal detectors and ignored police officers who asked her to stop so they could check her with a hand-held wand.

This reprised a standoff from the evening before, when Ms. Boebert, a freshman Republican from Colorado, refused to show guards what was inside her handbag as she entered the building. In both cases, she was eventually granted access, but not before engineering a made-for-Twitter moment that delighted the far right.
Quote:
The standoff at the metal detectors was a characteristic stunt by Ms. Boebert. She is only 10 days into her term but has already arranged several episodes that showcased her brand of far-right defiance as a conspiracy theorist who proudly boasts of carrying her Glock handgun to Washington. She is only one of 435 House members, but Ms. Boebert, 34, represents an incoming faction of the party for whom breaking the rules — and gaining notoriety for doing it — is exactly the point.
After reading about her, she seems the perfect symbol of Trumpism. She is an emotional child for whom grievance, disruption and attention are the objectives, and productive, serious effort to effectively govern our country is impossible.

Yeah, the NYT doesn’t like her — what a surprise!

Boebert's just another one of our homegrown colorado crazies.
And one of our most crazed house reps (former AZ-8 rep Trent Franks) was a Colorado native, from Ouray

Lol at the “unfit dimwit” sign, very apropos for all trumplettes.

One of these days you’ll have something interesting to say because as of now, your posts are redundant & boring.

Another of the notorious trump enablers is one of our own. Trump's lawyer mouthpiece Jenna Ellis grew up in Longmont; started her legal career working for the district attorney in Weld County (was fired from that job) then morphed into teaching at Colorado Christian University and becoming a Christian mouthpiece. Now she's posing as the Constitutional Expert on Trump's team.
