In the past, when companies became too monopolistic, the federal government would break them up or find ways to keep them in check. We might have to look into doing that with these tech companies, this time for being monopolistic, not economically but for their manipulation of public opinion.

I don't know why you can't believe it.

The ACLU is not in favor of censorship, and sticks up STRONGLY for the first amendment rights of citizens, although that usually does take the form of standing up for liberal causes who are silenced. Because usually, it is causes and people on the left who are squelched by the public.

But. The ACLU has stood up for the Klan before, insisting on their right to peacefully assemble.

They are what they say they are. Champions of the bill of rights for all.
