In case you didnt know, there are MANY selling 'drugs' thru the classified ads, ( I was an addict for many years until finally getting off them about 6 yrs ago), Craigslist is FULL of people selling drugs of all kinds, but they do not post that they are selling drugs...they 'disguise' what they are selling, its very effective actually, only people looking for drugs, know what to look for. I can go on Craigslist today and pick out the ones selling drugs, its easy because I know how they 'word' their ads and in what sections they use. Originally prostitutes used this method to advertise their services, but drug dealers started doing it about 15 yrs ago.
Congratulations!! I have lost several friends to addiction as well as having friends that lost their children.

I am truly happy for you that you were able to beat the addiction.

Probably, but the infrastructure around regulating guns would make it hard to get away with black market sales. It's not a consumable. The evidence will be there until it's physically destroyed. And there will be a paper trail on ownership, so it will come back to bite whoever sold it.

Thank you! I have also lost friends due to addiction over the years.

I can truly say that Suboxone saved my life! Imo, they need to be handing the stuff out on street corners free of charge.

Yes, but considering so many guns have been 'privately sold' over the years, and changing hands God knows how many times after being sold, regulation seems useless at this point...They may able to enforce it on NEW sales, but the guns already out there, it would be impossible to establish ownership.

Yeah. Best we can hope for is goodwill enrollment from upstanding gun owners. There's already a lot of records that can brought over that will be accurate to the current gun owner, but anything "lost" or sold to the highest bidder is probably going to have to be recovered the old fashioned way.

Why do I need to go a broker, when I won't sell a gun unless they have a concealed carry permit.

But, I'm going assume that you believe those fine upstanding drug dealers also go through a broker with their gun sales.

In response to Mr. Baker's comments, Vice-President Biden said, "And to your point, Mr. Baker, regarding the lack of prosecutions on lying on Form 4473s, we simply don't have the time or manpower to prosecute everybody who lies on a form, that checks a wrong box, that answers a question inaccurately."

So, what about this statement above eddie? This is the guy your just made president...

That was in subject. That's how analogies work.

Bc the govt shouldn't trust that you're not also selling on the black market and fueling gun crime. Every gun used in a crime started off as a legal purchase.

As much right as govt has to know what car you drive and sell. I'd keep my nose out of it if it wasn't fueling our gun crime epidemic.
