Of course McConnell will throw Trump under the bus now. Trump has taken away big donor money from anyone in the Republican party that supported his insurrection attempt. Trump cost McConnell his leadership seat in the senate and turned it blue along with the presidency and Congress still.
They don't need Trump anymore. No reason not to turn on him like a monkey on a cupcake.
The Dems impeached for his speech. That only.
Now the fbi investigation finds people were planning this, which legally, absolves the president.
LOL, no. The President has instant access to, and is constantly informed of, all intelligence from CIA, FBI, NSA, Homeland Security and the Pentagon. Therefore he knew damn well there were violent white nationalists in the crowd and they were planning it. He was told! That makes him MORE guilty, not less.
After the president cost him the Senate leadership, McConnell is pinching back. Not a dope slap, just a pinch and a "you naughty boy!" to see the president on his way.
McConnell cost himself the senate leadership by getting outplayed on the stimulus. Dems ran stimulus commercials nonstop the last 2 weeks.
He is a pretty poor leader. He repeatedly gets outplayed in DC.
He's living in the 80s, screaming in a back room, waiting for the big boom. Just puts his flags in the air and marches them up and down. He can live it up, live it up all over town. And turn to the left and turn to the right. He doesn't care as long as the check comes tonight.
How can they look around at what's happened and what is happening in Washington right now and not vote to convict???
I just hope these people HAVE consciences.
Dims burned up our cities and killed hundreds over the Spring and summer....the capitol protest was kindergarten compared to what the Dims did....Trump will not be "convicted."
There is no actual quote from McConnell included in that article. The paraphrasing used by Cramer was vague at best, and open to substantial misinterpretation.
Virtually these same stories were circulating last week, based on anonymous sources and again no actual quotes from McConnell himself. And then Majority Leader McConnell announced that there was not going to call back the Senate for a trial before the scheduled inauguration of Joe Biden* and Kommie Harris*, after which it is extremely unlikely that any such trial will ever be started, much less finished.
You guys misinterpreted and misrepresented the actions of Majority Leader McConnell last week as a result of stories based on conjecture associated with what McConnell is thinking, saying and doing. It seems just as likely that you are doing the exact same thing here, yet again, just one week after your most recent 'Fake news' frenzy around this subject.
