Did anyone hear the report today of a girl being shot to death because she refused a guy a cigarette? Apparently the guy approached the girl and her boyfriend and asked for a Cigarette. She said no. He then pulled out a gun and shot her several times.
Is this a sign of the times?

Sounds like it was related to more than a simple cigarette...is the story developing still? I'd be inclined to think there's more to the story.

Maybe they knew each other or someone had a beef with them and sent the shooter.

Or maybe it was a gang initiation thing, something like that?

Or he could just be crazy. They're out there too.

p.s. Just for the record, was the guy the legal owner of that firearm and was carrying it legally?

Here's a link, and shockingly enough, it took place in Baltimore.

Apparently she didn't know him. She was walking with her boyfriend when he approached her. There is a manhunt out for him. Other facts i don't really know.

Here is the sign of the times this all started when guns became illegal to openly carry you will find those who would do you harm think twice about it if they know they will get shot too. The criminals and crazy ones have guns why shouldn't you!!! Instead innocent people, children are shot dead over a cigarette, sneakers and gangs. In the city people come up to asking for change, cigarettes, money, anything they can get from you for free. Every day people are robbed in day light, in subways on the streets. They have knifes, guns and use brute force. ARM yourself and stop being a Victim be a hero and rid ourselves of the scum of society.
We didn't make them, they made a choice in their lives to ignore responsiblity to ignore the chances in front of them to change.

That's Baltimore for you. One of the highest murder rates in the Americas - not just America.

I'm sure there is more to the story than just the denial of a cigarette.
