Yikes, did you think he started his administration with zero infections?

This is kind of like how the relieving pitcher doesn't get charged for the runners on base when he enters the game. He can let all the runs score but it's still his predecessor's fault the runners were on base.

Weird you thought that this was somehow Biden's fault. Not surprised, though.

Remember when Republicans said COVID would disappear if Democrats won because it was a hoax? Pepperidge farm remembers.

Covid was already here in the states spreading way back in 2019. Let's get real. Even a world class pandemic response team would have failed to stop the spread of this extremely contagious disease because it requires forcing Americans to modify their behavior. That's the only way other countries slowed their spread, and even those countries like UK are struggling.

Trump put travel bans in place back in January while the Democrats were more concerned about impeaching him and the WHO was saying there was no human to human transmission. He did assemble a task force made up of top experts like Dr. Fauci who admitted that Trump did EVERYTHING he asked him to do.

Sorry, but the claim Trump did nothing to stop the spread is completely false.

He never said covid itself was a hoax. The hoax was the Democrats using covid as a political weapon and that's exactly what they did. This was one time in American history that we really needed to work together, but nopers, Democrats couldn't let go of their Trump hate for once and work with the man. He stopped doing daily briefings because it just became an all out assault on him instead of informing the public on what we need to do.

They meant it as a joke. NO one seriously believed that.

Uh-huh.

It was just a prank bro.

When do the claims of election fraud also get categorized as "a joke"?

It's this thing called inertia. We are already moving in this direction (many deaths per day). It won't be turned around immediately, but it WILL be turned around.

Trump threw in the towel and let this run wild. Even if every single American wore a mask when they should, it is still about 2-3 weeks before we could possibly see daily case numbers drop. And another week or two after that for daily death counts to drop.

I thought masks and lock downs was going to stop the virus? After almost a year it's even worse? And Biden wants even more masks and lock downs? Does that make sense? Does it follow science?

Here's what will work- WHO will change the way cases are reported. And cases will start going down around the world. Biden will claim credit.

In fact, on Jan 13 and 20 WHO issued a memo to do just that! WHO memo reminds RCP test operators to follow correct RCP test instructions! Apparently, they haven't been reporting RCP test results properly. The memo states that if an RCP test is positive, but the person has no covid symptoms (they don't have covid), that test should NOT be reported as a covid case! Just in time for the Biden administration taking office!

You'll see cases going down soon, as if Biden had anything to do with it. It was faulty testing procedure!

Yikes, this is not looking good. I guess his COVID task force won't be good enough or his promise of 1 million vaccines per day isn't going too well.

Democrats told us the vaccine was the silver bullet to solve everything and the numbers just keep going up.

In 2024, the GOP will have a lot of ammunition when they blame all this on Biden like Democrats did for Trump.
Admit?

Starting in early November, CDC and Faucci predicted the very worst was yet to come, beginning in December and persisting throughout the winter UNLESS people changed their behaviors.

Something about people throwing caution to the wind and gathering with friends and families in enclosed spaces over the protracted holiday period, between Thanksgiving and New Years.

In absence of vaccinating 90% of the population, the only thing that prevents transmission is personal

The Governor of my state banned indoor dining and drinking in November. Nonetheless nearly every independently owned restaurant/ bar in suburban Chicago is open for business. The popular places are jammed, especially in the bar area where people are packed like sardines.

There were NYE bashes and now promos for Super Bowl.

Tens of millions gathered with friends and families inside private residences and continue to do so.
