Former President Trump wasn't the small spender when it came to federal spending that Democrats constantly talked about.

Former President Trump added more debt over 4 years then the total debt was in 2005 under George Bush.

Makes you wonder why the GOP deficit hawks who screamed so loudly and constantly before 2017 didn’t stop him short before he could inflict that amount of damage since they controlled everything.

Actually, I think we all know the answer to that question. It’s not difficult to check lists of donors and amounts to them, and see who got the money and kicked it back to them. The real question is never about how much was spent, but about what we got for our money. What we got was the richest CEOs and politicians in the history of the world, and not much else.

Thanks, republicans.

Trump bankrupted casinos, who thought this guy could ever get federal spending under control? What a sorry joke of a country we've become, all because of Republicans.

I think they believed their republican led senate would reign anything too bad in.

I wasn’t aware that Trump initiated those government spending bills in the House of Representatives?

Anyway, how dare Trump spend money! He should’ve vetoed Pelosi’s bill and crashed our entire economy, you know, in the name of fiscal responsibility.

But you're ok with sending 740 billion to people overseas?

I also wasn't aware he signed anything that came to his desk

This is really pathetic! Your party platform is fiscal responsibility and you preach this like a parrot. You have to make up your mind what it is that you want to defend. Always blaming dems or claiming "hey as a dem you don't care about this" doesn't work
