I was never asked anything in a poll. When they talk about Bush's popularity what 32%? Of the people they asked! , I was never polled. No one I know was ever asked. So how do they really know?

That's right Nea, only about 1,500 people across the nation are surveyed. Those people could be sureveyed from anywhere. Ecspecially when you consider the huge liberal hand in politics and research.

The media LOVEs to spout out these negative numbers of his popularity, yet no one asked me or anyone I know, they are not accurate at all, and should be ignored.

Actually, I think he's the Manchurian Candidate!

My point exactly. And remember the comment by Bush 41- derogatorily saying Americans are "peasants with pichforks"; they clearly have contempt and an imperious attitude.

Sunnyhelena,

I hate to have to correct a moderator, but when needed...

I believe that the peasants and pitchforks speach was Pat Buchanan, not Mr. Bush.

If you disagree, please supply text, web site, anything to collaborate your claim.

Intolerably rude.

This type of flippant comment not only denigrates President Bush but all those Americans with an Southern accent as well. Not okay.

Media has made much sport of his personalized interpretation of, and missteps with, the language, but he is a graduate of Yale and certainly fluent in English. As my students would say, "Don't be a hater".

I think it makes him more human and less robot. I havent heard a single person yet that speaks every word correctly, we all make mistakes.

to be fair, I think I remembered Chris Matthews mentioning it, and you could be right about Buchanan.

She never mentioned his Southern accent. She was speaking of his verbal skills which have nothing to do with ones accent. Relax. I'm no Bush fan, but I don't think he is stupid. I think that's a mistake the left and media always makes. He does have quirky verbal stammers, but then who doesn't.
