They’res many many things odd about the Trump fetish some people have but the oddest is the idea that Trump is a champion for the middle and lower class.

Here’s the thing with conservatives. They truly believe that they too will become rich, just like the people they idolize. So they actively support & vote for these people, even though NOTHING ever changes in their miserable lives because they are convinced they too will become rich. If it wasn’t so pathetic it would be almost sad.

I don't identify as liberal or conservative. I'll just give my account of what I got under Trump: Nothing. I started the administration with a good job, got laid off, burned through my savings, spent several months underemployed. And then I got a good job again (albeit it was a contract job). Got another contract job, then a direct job. Things improved from 2019 onward. However, I spent 2019 trying to make up for the crap I went through during 2017-2018.
All I say, none of it is from a partisan perspective. It's just simply what I dealt with. I'm not better off or worse off than I was during the last part of the Obama administration, all things considered.
I think you need to lay off CNN for a while and bring yourself back to reality. To say President Trump did nothing is false. He halted all international flights with China and Europe. As he did this, then candidate Biden told people how xenophobic President Trump was being. He continued to have this stance for another month before signing on with the idea all while continuing to call President Trump a racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe, and anything else he could think of. So, we as a country would have been less safe had Biden been president over the duration of this virus.
Also, can you name one modern president that hasn't golfed or pardoned anyone? I'll accept a Republican or a Democrat.

Most middle class tax payers received a cut of about $1000 a year. Speaker Pelosi said this was crumbs, while calling a one time $600 significant. Yes, she is the same woman who made a video with her $24,000 fridge and $12 a pint ice cream.
Anyone who also has a 401K or an IRA account also benefitted greatly from the previous administration.
