And then came COVID, and he completely ignored, delayed, and botched the response. Highest unemployment since the Great Depression. 425,000 Americans dead - the largest destruction of American lives since WWII.

He's easily the worst president ever.
You don't have to lie. Unemployment under Trump was at a multi decade low until covid. Real median household income boomed too. Highest ever. Only a moron would blame a global pandemic in a single person. And unemployment was 6.7% the day Trump left office. Hardly record breaking.

Biden has definitiely chosen to embrace division over unity, not that I expected something else. I guess the standard from now on, will be the president reversing every change of the previous president did.

Many of the things will come back and haunt the Biden administration such as out of control illegal immigration and men changing gender to win sports.

That was our only hope but he is falling right into line with the new order of the Far Left agenda. Harris might not even have to push him aside to take over since he is doing so well...

Trump had us on a bumpy road, having pulled us off the interstate to ruin but now we are back on it and picking up speed towards that cliff.

The Biden Bunch is just doing things to spite Trump and his base. They don't care about unifying anything or else they would not be pushing the impeachment nonsense.

The hypocrisy from the media is ridiculous. Trump shuts down travel from China to help stop the spread of the Covid and he is a Racist monster. Biden shuts down travel from Africa and other areas and he is a brave, intelligent leader that loves us and has our best interests at heart.. UGH.

I do not approve of Biden's first 5 days or should we say the third term of Obama?

The wall was a joke. What good did walls do during the Capitol riots? Besides, Trump procured that money through executive order NOT legislation. He had his chance to build the entire wall if he wanted to back in 2017 and 2018. He did not take advantage of that.

Fun fact: The border was extended further under Obama than under Trump? Why? Trump's wall did not extend the border at all - maybe a mile or two. It replaced existing wall. The wall built during Obama's administration was set forth by law (Secure Fence Act of 2006). Bush signed that into law and Obama either didn't try to undo it or didn't want to. He let that finish up, as the law required. However, if you liked Trump's concept of the wall, you probably loved how Obama had more wall built under his watch than Trump's!

One thing is abundantly clear - Biden is more serious about coronavirus than Trump was. Considering that is the number one problem facing all of America today - it seems like we should all cheer that on. The guy and his administration are setting a great example by wearing a mask. Mind you, Biden is vaccinated. He doesn't need to wear a mask at this point (I don't think you can transmit the disease if you are vaccinated, but maybe someone in the medical field knows better). He is setting an example - an example we didn't have for the last 10-11 months.

Now, I'm not surprised that Trumpers are so focused on Biden not wearing a mask at the Lincoln Memorial. He was outdoor and not too close to anyone. And if you watch the entire segment, he took the mask off for a moment then when the performer was done, he put his mask back on. Much ado about nothing. Besides, the guy is setting a good example 98% of the time. That's better than the other guy that set a good example 0.1% of the time and told people it was all a hoax, fake news, etc etc.

As an entire body of work, I approve of Biden. I might not agree with each thing, but overall, he is doing well. It is fine to disagree on policy (usually). Biden was never going to win over anybody on the right with some policies. But, working towards a solution for coronavirus should be a win for everybody. And if you were one of these people that think it was a hoax to begin with, you shouldn't care anyway.

He’s not doing anything different with Corona. Nearly a million vaccinations were already happening under Trump and he is just going mask up when people have already been doing so for 9 months

Hope you liberals enjoy higher oil prices, higher unemployment and more wars in the Middle East. But at least you get men wearing dresses in the bathroom with your daughters.

He's already had a major lie.

He has no plans to reduce Covid as he's claimed it going to get a lot worse.

Joe needs to go back to his basement and take a nap.

It is odd considering he made such a huge deal about it.

This says a lot, a real lot, but not what you think.

This is a lot to help citizens of the US, or by the country did you mean a different country?
1. Re-established the immigration magnet to our borders to the coyotes' delight by halting deportations. The human trafficking industry is back and better than ever!

2. At the same time, he halted border wall construction. We can't have walls getting in the way of illegally entering our country!

3. Made the USA less energy independent and eliminated thousands of jobs by the removal of the Keystone XL permits, again as a purely symbolic tip of the cap to environmentalist wokeism. China is thrilled. Judy Trudeau is not.

4. Made it illegal to stop men from playing girls' sports. I guess this helps.....women? Another tip of the cap to gender dysphoria wokeism that "helps" maybe what, .005% of our population? More symbolism.

5. Signed a symbolic "mask mandate" on federal property that he promptly forgot he signed and did a photo op on federal property without a mask. Most people were already wearing masks quite a bit on federal property, and masks don't help "slow the spread" anyway, as we can see today. Our numbers are the highest yet, even while people have been wearing masks for months and months.

City Data is a bastion of older retired people who found that wailing about the "old days" was far easier with a keyboard and account here than to just kvetch with their counterparts at the weekly bridge game. It's hardly a true representation of the overall population.
