DNC and nearly every liberal candidate has showed they want open borders...no deportation of any kind...and to abolish the immigration/border patrol

abolish ice AND abolish borders... and its the socialist liberals pushing it...socialism wants NO BORDERS

Lenin in 1916 proclaimed:

Abolish ICE, and Abolish the Border Too: A Socialist Perspective

The movement to abolish ICE has sparked a conversation among socialists about borders and their relation to capitalism.
http://www.leftvoice.org/Abolish-ICE...st-Perspective

Progressive politicians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have made “Abolish ICE” a central item on their campaign agendas, motivating high-profile Democrats like Senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Elizabeth Warren, as well as New York mayor Bill de Blasio, to follow suit. Most recently, NYC gubernatorial candidate and now self-proclaimed “democratic socialist,” Cynthia Nixon echoed the criticisms, referring to ICE as a “terrorist organization.” Given that Nixon is decidedly more of a democrat than a socialist, this bold statement is another sign that liberals are willing to not only embrace the demand to abolish ICE but to also go so far as to have open borders

Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., isn’t on the fringe of the Left. He is the second ranking member of the Democratic National Committee and he basically wears his immigration policy on his sleeve. More specifically, the No. 2 Democrat wore a T-Shirt that literally said “I don’t believe in borders.”

The solution to America’s immigration problems is open borders, under which the United States imposes no immigration restrictions at all.

https://cis.org/Krikorian/Yes-Democr...e-Open-Borders

An old proverb: HEAVEN has a wall and strict immigration rules; while HELL has open borders

open borders is a socialist concept bordering on communism

globalism (liberalism) is socialism
socialists don't want borders, they want a global economy, one world order

for decades the American liberals idolized the soviets and the leftist communism... Saul alinsky even called communism the political paradise

the American liberals continue to push globalism/socialism hoping for no borders and the endgame of socialism/ communism

Zbigniew Brzezinski liberal (socialist) mentor to Carter, Bush1, clinton, cheney, and Obama

Liberals wanting a North American Union...like the European Union

"...in Brzezinski's BETWEEN TWO AGES (1970), he praised Marxism, and he claimed that "the nation-state is gradually yielding its sovereignty."

You're speaking truth.

Call me uninformed, but I don't recall AOC in her youthful dancing days or even high school ones harassing devout Christians who non-verbally say grace over meals in public schools. Unlike a certain Georgia congresswoman who makes even 1960s representatives of her district look sane by comparison.

I suspect your HATE for President Trump goes a bit beyond that.
“creamed corn”, lol. Post of the month!

And all the responses saying it’s because she’s a strong/powerful (pick one), minority/Latinx/black/POC (pick one), female/trans/bi/gay (pick one).... isn’t it time to come up with a new excuse?

To understand Ocasio-Cortez, you have to understand the kind of people who make up her district. I live only about 20 miles east of that district. The people are largely Hispanic, low education, and low income.

They're even dumber than she is. She could come out with a million gaffes and they wouldn't know the difference. She knocked on doors and passed out fliers promising FREE everything. FREE, FREE, FREE! Why wouldn't such people believe her?

Being the candidate with the "D" after her name will get her automatically re-elected into her old age over there. Doesn't matter that she's a dingbat and has an extreme ideology (even if she herself doesn't understand that ideology). And there is no chance that she can be defeated in a primary. She can and has raised WAY MORE money than all her opponents combined. And there's more coming if needed. That's because she has made herself into a national figure, a darling of the left. At the snap of her fingers she could have thousands of volunteers from all over the country swarming her district.

Look, if the chairman of the Democratic National Committee believes that this idiot is "the future face of the Democratic party", then how can you fault a bunch of poorly educated know-nothings?

She is a soldier of the extreme left. Her job is to bring in as many socialists and radicals as possible into Congress over time. The only positive I can say about her is that she is not evil on a comparative basis, just ignorant and stupid and reflexively ideological on the issues. After all, how could someone so stupid be that evil? There are two other new and radical Dem congresswomen, Omar and Tlaib, who ARE evil. Ocasio-Cortez is dangerous but they are much more dangerous than this silly little girl. In fact, I think this girl will be good for Republicans in that she is pulling the party to the radical left. Many leading Dems have endorsed her Green New Mess. Radical leftism (or radical rightism) will not win a presidential election if she and her radical ilk seize the reins of the party.

Most people can recognize that there is more than one <insert bad word here> in congress.

The funniest thing about AOC is that when you mention her, both the right and the left goes bonkers. The right dishonestly tries to portray her as how all dems are...the left tries to dishonestly deny that she gets any attention or power from them.

1) Yes, they do.
2) Political posturing.
3) Yes, they do. What planet do you live on?
4) She majored in International Relations. A houseplant could graduate *** laude with a degree in International relations.

Ever wondered why, prior to getting elected to Congress, her biggest accomplishment was working at a taco bar? And yes, I consider that honest work compared to being an intern for Teddy. Given the Kennedy clan's reputation, I'm not sure that's something I would even put on a resume. Getting elected is just a matter of telling a bunch of stupid people what they want to hear. An accomplishment, I suppose, but not one to be proud of.

She's a real embarrassment to Boston U., which is supposedly a good school.

So?

She won her primary too. She's popular in her home district. The rest of us don't matter and I don't hold her social media success/presence against her. She knows she irritates a large part of America and revels in it.

More power to her.
