My feeling is that Ivanka is the Republican's best choice. Her possible run against Marco Rubio would be one step in that direction: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...ay/ar-BB1bSpXw. Considering that she has fought a good battle for women's rights while her father was in office, I felt she was being primed for the job.
I also think it would be a real kick in the face to the Democrats for a Republican woman to be the first President. Most of her views look like they would be considered liberal Republican views and I think she alone stands the best chance of uniting a divided America.
Harris will be first female President. Biden will be removed or step aside or whatever, whichever way they decide to run with it, but whatever. K-Ho will take over, possibly before the end of 2021.
Personally, I won't vote for anyone who still supports Trump after the events of January 6.
Ben Sasse I would support. I think the Republicans are in trouble. I don't think someone like Sasse can win the nomination and I don't think someone not like Sasse can win the general election. Four years is a long time though.
The reason I am no longer a 30+ year Democrat is because I finally realized they do nothing for the workers that built the Party. Just listening to the what is coming out of the WH since they took over; tell me what they did to help the average worker. Billions in aid to south of our border, giving the vaccine to our enemies first, destroying thousands of jobs and playing into the Saudis wishes really helps America!
The old Democratic Party was built by workers. But then the greedy politicians figured out that workers do not offer financial support. They did not give the Biden campaign large contributions of dark money. So the Democrats are taking care of their financial supporters and that leaves out the little guy. Even with the five liberal corporations that control 90% of the media we see, people are realizing that they made the wrong choice. The Party had a great start, but it is not the same, and it will have a poor finish if it does not roll back the hands of time.
The fact that Trump got elected in '16 disproves this line of bull5hit. as does the extensive investigations by Trumps people and others (including his DoJ), that found no real evidence of fraud. Right wingers who drank Trumps cool aid about fraud are a bigger danger to Republicans running for president in '24 than any real fraud.

The presidential elections are now rigged and they will continue to be rigged, unless drastic action is taken to unrig them. And currently that does not appear to be in the process of happening.
As of right now no republican. 4 years will not be enough time to rebuild the republic party to be able the win the presidency again 8 years might not even be enough time.

How come I you never refer to the Third Lady as M-ho?
1. Ted Cruz. He was my first pick over Trump originally.
2. Donald Trump. I doubt he would/could run again. He's getting up there in age too.
3. Ivanka Trump. She's smart and well spoken, moreso than her brothers IMO.
Both Democrats and Republicans have a racist history. But I am not talking about history, I am talking about current perceptions and political alignments.
That’s a bit disingenuous. Almost all of the racist southern Democrats left the party and switched to red in response to LBJ’s civil rights act. Take Jessie Helms for example. He switched over in 1970.
