It's real. Attorneys have code of ethics they must abide by or be disbarred. Trump's attorneys didn't buy into the "Stop The Steal" garbage, Trump is broadcasting.

Exactly!

lmao....Pelosi and the Dems getting played again. Trump knows he'll walk away unscathed from her latest losing hissy fit so why not stay on the front page of the news for the next 6 months watching them trigger themselves out. Brilliant strategy! Biden and his agenda fades into oblivion.

That is some convolution of what just happened.

So who is filing the response on Tuesday, will Trump do it on his own.

Goodnight, it is my fervent wish that the deluded loon represents himself in court. NO ONE knows better than he does!

There is no Republican Party there is only the Trump adoration and protection society.
That is SO true.

Republicans don't want a hearing because it makes them ALL look bad; every one of them who went along with the Big Lie. Wasn't that most of them?

Yeah, Ted Cruz sure doesn't want a hearing. With one of the thugs telling another on camera "Cruz won't mind; he wants us to do this".

LOL.

Right next to a big ole picture of Josh Hawley raising his fist in solidarity with the insurrectionists.

It's no secret why the Qpublican party focused strictly on a procedural issue so they never, ever have to look at the actual content.

And they've got that.
No chance of Trump being censured.
Unlike an impeachment conviction, a censure resolution would only need the support of 60 Senators to overcome the threat of a filibuster and reach a final floor vote. That means 10 Republicans would need to join the chamber’s Democrats in supporting the measure.

So that would be Mitch, Romney, Collins, Murkowski and who else?

Definitely not 10.
Only 5 wanted the impeachment trial to go ahead....
And Trump has made it clear that he'll be campaigning in the 2022 midterms, so he's a factor, and most Senators will be too afraid to cross him and his gigantic base.
