I don’t really understand the logic of going gender neutral with this, but I also don’t really see a doom-and-gloom thing happening because of it either.
Maybe do something more along the lines of Monopoly, where you can buy the woke one if you want, or the “original” if you don’t, plus other less charged themes.

GLAAD, an LGBTQ advocacy group, applauded the genderless toy potato.
“Hasbro is helping kids to simply see toys as toys, which encourages them to be their authentic selves outside of the pressures of traditional gender norms,” said Rich Ferraro, GLAAD’s chief communications officer, in a statement.
We should just award it an honorary doctorate in gender studies. Then we can just call it Dr. Potato Head. In fact, I’m just to call everyone Doctor from now on. That will solve the gender issue and no one else seems to live in the real world anymore so it won’t matter weather anyone is actually a doctor or not.
If i remember correctly from sixty years ago, mr. potatohead was some plastic accessories we stuck on a real potato to dress up the potato.
