We had our run and its time to have them lead.

Our country is aged, broke, and the dollar is fading into history. China has already begun the steps in Africa, Europe, and Asia to lead the way.

American greed , globalism, and covid put the nail in the coffin. Lets face it... no sanctions will stop China. Our military might be great and all ... but a military needs a economy to fund it.

Im just not seeing it and I see this decade as the final years we have as a leader in the world.

Imagine we collect 3 trillion in taxes but spend almost 3x that amount every year... The amount of money printed last year is greater than the last 200 years. The debt spend last year is greater than all the years prior.

This cant continue forever, its pretty sad. We are reckless and do not deserve to be the world reserve currency. However, the fate our greedy politicians have laid out for us will be our day of reckoning .
After WWII America had virtually every advantage. Unlike Germany, Japan, England and a number of other countries, the war did not damage America's infrastructure, and there were plenty of natural resources. That paid off big for the next 10 or 15 years. Then war-damage nations started healing from the war. Other nations are now on equal footing. We had a head start. Now the pack has caught up.

Now compare that to COVID. Nearly every western country shut down their economy. Who was open ?? China was... now they are steamrolling to the top just like the US did after WWII

What do you mean, China was opened? China shutdown entirely for several months. Full lockdown.

That heavy a central mandate just won't work in a freer and more democratic country. And an example why a totalitarian regime can sometimes be more efficient and successful.

Are you referring to our domestic military or our hundreds of foreign military bases and interventionist foreign-policy?

Rofl, true. But that doesn't mean that where the bankers are located is inconsequential.

The relative strength of "The West" is waning every day. The vast majority of the world's population does not live in Western countries, and they have absolutely zero loyalty to the west(if not hatred of it).

Latin-America has twice the population of the United States. India is 25x the size of Britain. And half the world's population lives in East Asia alone. Moreover, Africa and the Middle-East have the highest fertility-rates in the world, and millions of them immigrate to the West every year.

The times they are a changin.

its simply a numbers game china has many more people so as they improve efficiency they will gain power....

the dollar is backed by the US military hence its tremendous cost...politicians are never honest and explain this to the people..its the ONLY reason to "waste" so much on weapons..

Churchill told FDR that the US was now the world leader...the English people took a few decades to relinquish the thought of global leader

one of the western powers did not think China should be included in the fraternity of global powers...time have changed
