The fact that you consider him to be a "POS" and a "loser" has no bearing on the case. Nothing that BLM did afterwards has any bearing on the case either. The only thing that matters is whether Derek Chauvin was responsible for Floyd's death, and whether his actions were justified.
George was a POS and as far as I am concerned society is better off with him! The cop will walk.
"...While being restrained...", not as a result of being restrained or because he was restrained.
I guess the Forbes article is one way to interpret the coroner's report. Too bad the article did not support the headline.
Here's another relevant bit from the coroner's report (and from the article):
"The official cause of death, according to the medical examiner, was cardiopulmonary arrest, not asphyxiation, and the report points to contributing factors that were not mentioned by the family autopsy, stating that Floyd had heart disease, was high on fentanyl, a powerful opioid, and had recently taken methamphetamine." (emphasis added)
Looking back it was extremely cringe that people and the media glorified him and made him out to be some hero. A hero in my eyes doesn’t point a gun at a pregnant woman’s belly or doesn’t overdose on fentanyl...
I will admit I jumped into the hype of “justice for George Floyd” at first, until I saw what BLM really stood for (defunding/abolishing police, etc). Plus I saw what a POS he was. Hopefully the cop gets a slap on the wrist and doesn’t have to be charged over a loser overdosing.
He was saying he couldn't breath 15 minutes before the infamous video, and he did have enough fentanyl to wipe himself out.....it killed him not the cop....
