The Grand Juries in New York are not a part of the federal government, and they are not convened for a "fishing expedition". Grand Juries are assembled because there is ample evidence beforehand that a crime was probably committed.
Cohen, as attorney and fixer, would know the details of an assortment of situations.
And he's also a convicted liar during sworn Congressional testimony, so what makes you think he wouldn't lie again to a NY Grand Jury just to get back at Trump...?? The DA had better keep that lie detector machine close by.

honestly? If Trump was more like past presidents, and didnt keep trying to tear the country apart I would be happy to evict him from my concerns. Alas he is still a factor in the political landscape. As I look around this thread, definitely just appears to be the usual *cough* non-partisans that are *cough* not pre-judging guilt or *cough* rooting for his imprisonment...yep, just people looking for a fair investigation and not a wide ranging fishing expedition of everything he's ever touched.

This is not harassment and persecution. This is an example of the justice system doing precisely what it is supposed to be doing. Since Michael Cohen was called back to discuss the matter with the Grand Jury after they received the Former Guy's tax returns, it more than likely means there is something they found there that they want to clarify. Cohen, as attorney and fixer, would know the details of an assortment of situations.
Maybe, still smells of politics. Grand Juries in New York? As if that somehow makes them more ethical. If Trump is dirty I hope they burn him. That said I think that very few politicians in office could stand up to the scrutiny Trump was exposed to. I welcome it as long as it is done to all of them.
