From what I can tell, there's a "general graduation" for anyone who wants to participate in that one, and then a bunch of separate ones if people want to be separated out due to demographics.
What a weird idea. If the population of graduates is too large to accommodate them all virtually, separate them by college/degree.
That's what colleges/universities did before the left re-implemented Jim Crow-style segregationist policies.
The problem is some of the Graduates of these type of Progressive Institutions then go out in the world and inflict damage to society. They bring the garbage they have been immersed in out to real life.

It's not forcing anyone to do anything but it is allowing for multiple celebrations.
