After 4 years of exposure to a culture and courses with a social justice twist or subject matter and the best they can do is segregated graduation ceremonies? Preview of things to come in the real world.
You guys wouldn't want that. In the past when we had segregation, when black communities started to thrive guess who got jealous and things like the Tulsa Riots/Black Wall Street Massacre happened.
But anyways, it's seem like some kind of mental illness the way people talk about "the left" then expect them to want to be around people like you. LOL
Again, the question is... Why not let minorities regress back to a "separate but equal" lifestyle if that's what they want?
As long as everyone participates in one main graduation I am fine. At my University- semi-rural/public/ACC/engineering heavy/fairly conservative- different individual colleges, honor groups, and sometimes Greek Groups held auxillary convocation type activities where their members/students had a send off that was a graduation-lite. Typically the grads were called out, someone spoke, you got a state of affairs and an award or two might be handed out. After their were pictures and mini-receptions.
The key was this was additional to the main graduation. And no one is required to attend any of the events. And this college was as far from woke as one could get.
So if all the various ethnic, income, gender groups get their own special ceremony the only ones left are the White people.
Will they allow a ceremony with only White people or will they cancel it because it's not "inclusive" ?????
we already unofficially segregate. It's white people who gentrify black neighborhoods and screw up the dynamics when they come in though.
So according to minorities, there really is and in fact never was anything wrong with "separate but equal." The Jim Crow Democrats are happy you've admitted it, as they are in fact those who are re-implementing the decades-old standard.

Nobody wants the government enforcing it. But for the most part people already self-segregate voluntarily.
But this entire stance you're taking is gaslighting. Some people sit around trashing blacks and minorities everyday all-day, then try to make them(us) the badguys for not wanting to be around that hatred. Gaslighting 101.

When it's implemented at a college/university that accepts federal funding, which Columbia does, it is enforced by the government. Separate but equal. The Jim Crow Dems are at it again.
