It is really hilarious. The same people who do not want any mandates are trying to convince people not to get vaccinated. The more unvaccinated people there are, the longer the mandates will last.

Those who are against vaccinating keep minimizing the risks of the disease and are afraid of "long term effects" - unspecified - that have about zero probability of happening.

For the mRNA vaccines real life experience is confirming their safety and efficacy, so the argument that they are "not FDA approved" is probably going to evaporate before the end of the year. Both Pfizer and Moderna are preparing applications for full licensure.

We know that you have zero concerns about vaccines and vaccine passports. Thanks for sharing.

The only ones trying to convince people are those insisting on mandated vaccines and vaccine passports.

Everyone else is for CHOICE. Personal decision. No interfering by government.

What would you rather have seen happen? How would you have handled it in a public health sense?

Who's insisting on mandated vaccines?

The poster I was responding to, does not believe in choice.

Where did she insist on mandating vaccines and vaccine passports? I don't recall reading that in any of her posts. Of course I may have missed it.

I believe she provides a factual counterpoint to what (ironically, given the amount of "fear mongering" derision aimed at posters who are for public health measures) is progressively more hysterical rhetoric around vax and proof thereof.

Being concerned about vaccine passports and vaccine choice is considered, hysterical rhetoric?

No. Being concerned is not considered hysterical rhetoric.

Naomi Wolf's take on it is considered hysterical rhetoric.

There's a distinct difference.

Nowhere did I say I favor mandating vaccines or vaccine passports. I said, repeatedly, that businesses should be allowed to decide for themselves. The very thing critics of mask mandates and capacity limits were for until..... they got hysterical over the thought of businesses making their own decision about vaccine passports. So much hypocrisy.

Note: Just heard on the new that Norwegian Cruise Line is requiring vaccination. And they’re not the only cruise line doing this. Are there going to be outcries over the “right” to cruise?
